What are Methods of Payment?

This section provides you with an overview and details on DEWA’s range of methods of payment to make your life easier, and save you time and effort.


DEWA Smart App

DEWA offers a variety of smart ways through which you can pay your bill. The DEWA smart app runs on Apple iOS, Android, Google Play and Huawei app store. 

You can pay via following options: 

  • Credit Cards/Debit Cards
  • Apple Pay
  • Samsung Pay for Samsung devices
  • Noqodi Net banking (For every payment of AED 25,000 the charges will be AED 5 +VAT and above AED 75,000 the charge will be AED 20 +VAT).
  • Noqodi e-Wallet (For every payment of AED 100, the charges will be AED 1 +VAT and above AED 200 the charge will be AED 3 +VAT).
  • The UAE Payment Gateway System (UAEPGS). Pay bills by direct debit (through bank account via internet banking). This gateway redirects you to the bank website, where you can authenticate using the internet banking login. Payment limit is AED 500,000.

DEWA Website

You can pay your bills online conveniently on DEWA’s safe and secure website at www.dewa.gov.ae.

You can pay via following options:

  • Credit Cards/Debit Cards
  • Samsung Pay for Samsung devices
  • Noqodi Net banking (For every payment of AED 25,000 the charges will be AED 5 +VAT and above AED 75,000 the charge will be AED 20 +VAT).

Dubai Now

You can pay your bill via Dubai Now (Digital Dubai Authority). The Dubai Now smart app smart runs on Apple iOS, Android, Google Play and Huawei app store.

You can pay via following options:

  • Apple Pay
  • Auto pay 
  • Noqodi wallet

EasyPay

This service enables the customer to make different types of payments including (Green Bill, Green Charger, Estimate, Port Sale, KW Invoice & General Services) in an easy way.

Auto Pay

At partner banks, this service automatically deduct your DEWA bill amount from your bank account every month through the banks smart channels.

You can authorize Digital Dubai Authority through Dubai Now app to automatically deduct the amount from your bank and pay DEWA on a selected date and for a specified amount (if the bill amount is less than or equal to the authorized amount).



Apple Pay

You can pay your bill using Apple Pay through DEWA smart app. Payment can be made via supported credit or debit card.

SamsungPay

You can pay your bill using Samsung Pay in Samsung devices through DEWA website and DEWA smart app. Payment can be made via supported credit or debit card.

Etisalat

  • Etisalat Payment Machines: Pay your bills using Etisalat Payment machines all over the UAE (Cash only).
  • e&money: Pay your bills using e&money mobile App

Tayseer

This is a channel for multi-account bill payment by Cash and Cheques of all banks.

Step 1: Create a reference number with all bank details required on the DEWA website or smart app.
Step 2: Pay through Emirates NBD Cheque Deposit Machines or through bank transfers using the created reference number.

Note: Any payments through cheque will be credited to the account’s subject to realisation.

Cash/Cheque Deposit Machines (Emirates NBD / Emirates Islamic)

Payment can be made via cash and cheques through Emirates NBD and Emirates Islamic Bank cash/cheque deposit machines (CDM) available across Dubai and also CDMs in DEWA Customer Happiness Centres.
