What is Clearance Certificate

Request to issue Certificate based on the customer’s request on clearing all the outstanding bills related to the premise.

50 DHS.

Estimated Delivery Duration:

  • DEWA Website & Smart App - 3 working days.
  • Customer Happiness Centres – Immediately if customer has cleared the outstanding bills.

Online Procedure

Step 1: Online Application Submission

Fill-in the online application form with the required information. Attach required documents and submit the application. You will be prompted to pay service fees online. On successful submission, a reference number will be provided which can be used for tracking the status of the application:

  • Passport copy or Emirates ID.
  • Trade License.
  • Premise Number or Account Number.
  • Final bill settled for Tenant only.
  • Outstanding Cleared for Landlord .

 

Step 2: Application Status Tracking and Notifications

You will receive SMS and e-mail notifications regarding the progress of the application. In addition to notifications, the status of the application can also be tracked online through e-service. Access tracking page and enter the application reference number to check the status of the application.

 

Step 3: Service Delivery

Once the application is Approved, the clearance certificate will be sent by post.

Offline Procedure

Step 1: Submit Application

Submit application in writing with required documents(s).

  • Passport copy or Emirates ID.
  • Trade License.
  • Premise Number or Account Number.
  • Final bill settled for Tenant only.
  • Outstanding Cleared for Landlord.

 

Step 2:  Pay The Final Bill

Pay the final bill amount and DEWA's service charge, for issuing the clearance certificate.

 

Step 3:  Collect Certificate

Present payment receipt and collect certificate
