DEWA organises Business Excellence Conference

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has organised the Business Excellence Conference 2014 under the theme Sustainable Excellence. The conference underlines DEWA’s commitment to promote business excellence, and supports its vision to become a sustainable world-class utility. A number of excellence leaders in the government and private sectors from the UAE and abroad participated in the conference which was held at the Intercontinental Hotel Dubai Festival City. More than 400 DEWA’s employees, representatives from government and private organisations in Dubai, in addition to DEWA’s partners, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders attended the conference Organising the conference is in line with Dubai Government’s vision and supports the position and competitiveness of Dubai which has become a global hub for trade, finance, tourism, and sustainability. Dubai is continuing its success and growth to become the smartest city in the world, provide the best government services, and adopt and export the best international practices. “Organising the Business Excellence Conference is in line with the vision and directions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai which outline the roadmap that guides our work, initiatives, and developmental projects to achieve the Dubai Strategic Plan 2020, which aims to enhance the leading position of Dubai at the regional level as well as its competitiveness at the global level. It supports the National Agenda, and the UAE Vision 2021 which aims to transform the UAE into one of the best countries in the world by 2021.
