Service Steps & Procedures

  • Apply online through DEWA website (www.dewa.gov.ae)
  • Select service  Demolishing Permits - Electricity/Water
  • Enter EID or idbara/Trade License for owner selection
  • In case the owner is not available on DEWA system you must register the owner  by choosing “create  owner” and then update the required data
  • Fill out the mandatory fields and attach the required documents. then press the “Submit Application” button

*Important Note: The projects which require Dubai Municipality Demolition permit, submission of Demolition Permit application is through Dubai BPS (Building Permit System).

  • For projects licenses under Dubai Municipality apply ONLY through Dubai Building Permit System “DBPS” of Dubai Municipality. DEWA will receive proactively your request through digital integration, and it will be processed and completed seamlessly. No need to apply through DEWA channels.
  • For the remaining scenarios in particular the projects licenses of other authorities, apply through DEWA channels.
