DEWA Customers can apply for the clearance certificate, if not received through email or clearance certificate expired.
Free of charge, if applied through DEWA website/smart app.

For DEWA customers, login is mandatory.
For non-DEWA customers, no need for login.
Estimated Delivery Duration
For DEWA customers, clearance certiﬁcate will be sent to customers through email, immediately upon settlement of ﬁnal bill.
DEWA customers can apply for the clearance certificate, if not received through email or if their clearance certificate is expired.
For property sellers, clearance certiﬁcate will be sent to customers through email, immediately upon settlement of Final Bill.
For non-DEWA customers, clearance certiﬁcate will be sent to the customers through email, within 3 working days of the request.
Step 1: Online Application Submission
Fill-in the online application form with the required information. Attach required documents and submit the application. On successful submission, a reference number will be provided which can be used for tracking the status of the application:
-Passport copy or Emirates ID for Individuals
-Trade License, for companies only
-Final bill amount settled.
Step 2: Application Status Tracking and Notiﬁcations
You will receive SMS and e-mail notiﬁcations regarding the progress of the application. In addition to notiﬁcations, the status of the application can also be tracked online through eservice. Access tracking page and enter the application reference number to check the status of the application.
Step 3: Service Delivery
Once the application is approved, the clearance certiﬁcate will be sent through email.
