This is a request to issue a certificate based on the customer’s request on clearing all the outstanding bills related to the premises.

Service Requirements

Step 1: Online Application Submission

Fill-in the online application form with the required information. Attach required documents and submit the application. On successful submission, a reference number will be provided which can be used for tracking the status of the application:
  • Passport copy or Emirates ID for Individuals.
  • Trade License, for companies only.
  • Account Number.
  • Outstanding dues /Final bill amount settled.

Step 2: Application Status Tracking and Notifications

You will receive SMS and e-mail notifications and OTP to your registered email regarding the progress of the application. In addition to notifications, the status of the application can also be tracked online through online service. Access tracking page and enter the application reference number to check the status of the application.

Step 3: Service Delivery

Once the application is approved, the clearance certificate will be sent through Registered email.

Service Delivery Time

  • DEWA Customers: Clearance certificate will be sent through email immediately upon settlement of final bill and it will expired in 30 days 
  • Property Sellers: Clearance certificate will be sent through email immediately upon settlement of outstanding / final bill dues of the premise

Applying for the Service
Partner (Dubai Now)
  • I log-in/register or I proceed as a guest by entering the verification code sent to the provided mobile number.
  • I select DEWA - Clearance Certificate service available on Dubai Now App.
  • I choose my preferred language.
  • I select/enter the related account number (if available).
  • I pay the outstanding amount (if any), then I submit the application and get a confirmation notification on screen that the request has been successfully submitted.

DEWA Customers

  • I log-in/register using UAE Pass or DEWA ID.
  • I go to Clearance Certificate service, select the related account, and start filling-in the service application.
  • I pay the outstanding amount (if any), then I submit the application and get a confirmation notification on screen that the request has been successfully submitted.

Non-DEWA Customers

  • I go to Clearance Certificate service; I enter the verification code sent to the provided mobile number.
  • I fill-in the service application, then I submit the application and get a confirmation notification on screen that the request has been successfully submitted.

  • I choose Clearance Certificate service.

Interaction During Processing
  • I receive acknowledgment notification with requests’ reference number and pin number.

  • I receive my clearance certificate through email, or I can log-in to DEWA Website/Smart App, enter my pin number and download the certificate.
