What is Methods of Payment

This section provides you with an overview and details on DEWA’s range of bill methods of payment to make your life easier, and save you time and effort.

Smart App

DEWA offers a variety of smart ways in which you can pay your bill, which run on Apple iOS, Android:

You can pay your bill online conveniently on DEWA’s safe and secure website at at no extra cost.

GCC cards are accepted only.


EasyPay is a new payment service, which enables DEWA’s customers to make payments for various services provided by DEWA in faster and easier way.

1. Implementation of new payment gateway ‘Noqodi’ within DEWA online channels for logged in customers. Customers will be able to pay their bills through below payment methods:

  •  Noqodi e-Wallet
  •  Noqodi Net Banking 

2. For Noqodi e-wallet, there is no limit for payment as long as the wallet holds the required balance.

3. For Net banking (UAEPGS) also, there is no limit, unless it has been set by the bank or customer for online payments.

4. The service charges will be paid by the customer. Service charges are applicable as per below table using Noqodi Net banking and Noqodi e-Wallet payment methods

5. Communication from DEWA for receipt of payment amount excluding the service charge of Noqodi.

Pay via Mobile – SMS (mPay)

You can pay your bill by sending an SMS via your mobile phone. Register at to activate this service.


You can also activate the Auto Payment feature to automatically deduct the DEWA bill amount from your credit card every month.

Etisalat Public Payment Machines

Pay your bills (payment by cash only) using Etisalat public payment machines all over the UAE (see list). 

Banks Accepting DEWA Bill Payments

  • Direct Debit: At partner banks, this service automatically deducts your DEWA bill amount from your bank account every month.
  • ATM Machines (CDM): Bills can be paid at ATM machines of many banks.
  • Teller Counters: DEWA’s partner banks offer DEWA bill payments from their tellers during office hours.
  • Phone banking: This service is available from phone banking if you have a bank account.
  • Mobile Banking (Smart APP): you can pay your bill through your bank’s Smart APP.
