Security E-Pass for Supplier

This service enables contractors, visitors, and DEWA’s employees and suppliers to apply for different types of passes to enter (Generation Division) premises

1. Long term entry permits: Is given to special individuals or government agency staff.

EVP-Generation’s approval is needed for periods of 90 days to 1 year. Long term permits for period up to 1 year are also available for contractors and consultants involved in turnkey projects based on VP-P&E (G)’s approval.

You need to provide these documents for long term passes:

• Valid Passport Copy with Valid Visa Copy.
• Emirates ID copy.
• Colour photograph of the person. (Passport size)
• Valid contract copy.
• Main contractor should provide the signed subcontract between the other company, if they have workers on another company visa or a NOC from subcontractor’s sponsor.
• Approved PTW from Commissioning shall be submitted.
• Vehicle registration copy and insurance details.
• Valid driving licence for drivers.
• Safety certificate for cranes.
• Valid scuba diving licence for divers.

2. Short term entry permits: These cover entries of individuals for periods of up to 30 Days. These can be approved by a Senior Manager.

Documents required for short term entry permits:

• Valid Passport Copy with Valid Visa Copy.
• Emirates ID copy.
• Colour Photograph of the person. (Passport size)
• Valid contract or LPO copy.
• Main contractor should provide the signed subcontract between the other company, if they have workers on another company visa or a NOC from subcontractor’s sponsor.
• Approved PTW from Commissioning shall be submitted.
• For Vehicle copy of registration and insurance.
• Valid driving licence for drivers.
• Safety certificate for cranes.
• Scuba diving licence for divers.

3. One day entry permit: These cover entry requirements for less than 24 hours, there are issued to individual such as having meeting, site visits; school visit and delivery not exceeding beyond 24-hours. Their entry permit require approval or concerned section manager of generation division .

Documents required for one day entry permit:

• Valid Passport Copy with Valid Visa Copy.
• Emirates ID copy.
• Colour Photograph of the person.
• For Vehicle copy of registration and insurance.

Apply through DEWA website by logging in as per the user name & password created. Upon submitting the data in the system

• System will automatically generate application reference number.
• Customer will be able to track the status of pass using reference number.
• Application will be automatically returned to contractor if documents are not clear.
