A delegation from Dubai Health Authority (DHA) visited Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to discuss the latest developments in the field of knowledge management. The discussion focused on topics related to the Knowledge Management work system at DEWA, the organisational structure of the section and its history, and future development opportunities. The visit supports DEWA’s strategy to enhance strategic relations and joint cooperation with national and international organisations to develop a new knowledge management framework and thereby achieve the common goals of DEWA and its partners, based on DEWA’s vision to become a sustainable world-class utility. The DHA delegation included Dr Mohammed Abdul Razaq Nasaif, Head of the Professional Development Centre of Medical Education, Bakheet Beshtawy, Acting Head of Section of the Rashid Medical Library, Mohammed Saleh Kayali, Application Support Officer at the Department of Medical Education, and Aziz Saeed Alzeqri, a Consultant at the Medical Education Department. The DEWA team included Fatma Al Suwaidi, Manager of Knowledge Management, Souzan Ahmed Ali, Deputy Manager of Corporate Partnerships, Amal Mohammed Saleh Sufyan, Senior Executive for Administration, Ahmed Mohammed Jamea Al Qaizi, Graduate Senior Administrator, and Aysha Alfalasi, Senior Executive of Knowledge Management, made a presentation to the visiting delegation on Knowledge Management Department’s activities. The delegation thanked DEWA’s team for their hospitality, and expressed appreciation for their support and contribution in enhancing joint cooperation between various government organisations.
