Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is participation in the fourth edition of the World Utilities Congress as supporting sponsor. DEWA will showcase in the congress its key projects and initiatives that aim to promote its position as one of the most prominent utilities worldwide. DEWA will also focus on its efforts to accelerate energy transition and enhance collaboration to achieve net-zero.
TAQA is hosting the fourth edition of the World Utilities Congress at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi from 17 May to 29 May 2025. The conference provides a leading platform for global entities in the energy and water sectors to showcase their latest technologies, products, services and solutions, as well as discuss trends, technologies and innovations that affect future demand for water supplies and energy sources in the world.

“The conference is a global platform to highlight our qualitative achievements and proactive steps towards achieving the UAE's Net Zero 2050 Strategy. DEWA implements giant projects to accelerate the energy transition, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park and the Green Hydrogen project. DEWA further achieved the world’s lowest electricity line losses at 2%, the world’s lowest water network losses at 4.5% and the world’s lowest customer minutes lost (CML) of less than one minute per year. Leveraging digitalisation and AI-driven technologies, we continue to enhance operational efficiency and elevate customer experience,” Al Tayer added.
