DEWA Honours Distinguished Employees

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has honoured a number of its distinguished employees and winners at the divisional levels in the presence of HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA and Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, Executive Vice President of Business Support & Human Resources, at DEWA’s headquarters in Zabeel. “We are committed to providing a positive atmosphere that helps develop and sharpen the capabilities of our employees and achieve job satisfaction and loyalty. Through these programmes, we honour our distinguished employees and recognise their achievements in order to improve the work environment,” said Al Tayer. “DEWA is keen to supporting its employees and encouraging them to excel in the work environment. This ceremony recognises the sincere and dedicated efforts of our staff who have provided high quality services to DEWA and its customers,” said Dr Yousef Al Akraf. Al Tayer presented awards to winners of the Knowledge Management Recognition Programme (Sharek). At the divisional level 2013, Transmission Power & Information Technology came in the first place, Power & Water Planning, came second and Distribution Power came in the third place. The list of winners at the Employee Level 2013 included: Swamynathan Subramanian, Seena Abdul Ghafoor Zarie, Siham Yaslem Saleh Al Sadi, Rizwan Mohammed Hussain, Ra’ad Issa Jaber Nassar and Arsenio JR Marasigan Rodri
