The Corporate Excellence - Business Development and Excellence at DEWA organised the 4th webinar via video conference in the presence of many DEWA staff from different divisions. The webinar highlighted DEWA’s efforts in enhancing its excellence during the COVID-19 pandemic and the role of its state-of-the-art digital infrastructure, its speed and agility to respond to technical and digital challenges and handling them properly and competently.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, highlighted DEWA’s preparedness to face challenges and radical future changes. This is in line with the wise leadership’s proactive vision, which anticipates developments and provides the required tools to keep pace with them through agile and resilient government systems according to the highest standards of efficiency.

During the session, Marwan bin Haidar, Executive Vice President of Innovation and the Future highlighted DEWA’s preparations for emergencies and its steadiness to anticipate future changes. He also addressed DEWA’s proactive plans and strategies as well as its long-term digital objectives which contributed to business continuity. DEWA adopts the latest Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies and strives to employ them to serve its customers, empower its staff to work remotely and maintain the highest levels of efficiency and productivity.
Professor Hadi Eltigani, Vice President of Corporate Excellence at DEWA, and Dr. Jarrah Mahmood Al Zu'bi, Senior Manager - Excellence Competitiveness at DEWA moderated the session. The session was part of a series of seminars organised by the Excellence department to spread and enhance the culture of corporate excellence and constant development at DEWA.
