DEWA signs agreement with du to provide exclusive discounts and offers on DEWA Store

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has signed an agreement with Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) to provide special discounts to DEWA’s customers on DEWA Store, which DEWA will launch on its smart app. DEWA Store will provide exclusive offers and discounts to customers in cooperation with a number of government and private sector companies. This is the first store of its kind for government departments in the UAE, and is part of DEWA’s efforts to provide value-added services to make its customers happier.

The agreement was signed by HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, and Osman Sultan, CEO of du.

“We are pleased that du has joined the list of companies that offer special offers and discounts to DEWA’s customers through DEWA Store, which DEWA will launch on its smart app. DEWA Store is part of DEWA’s efforts to establish its position as a value-added part of everyone’s life; meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations. These services will make their lives easier and support our efforts to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city in the world. These efforts are in line with the vision and directions of the wise leadership to improve government services and the Dubai Plan 2021, which aims to position Dubai as the preferred place to live, work, and visit,” said Al Tayer.

Al Tayer commended du’s efforts as a distinct national organisation, emphasising the importance of concerted and integrated efforts between government and private organisations to promote services that achieve the happiness of customers and society in general.

“Since its establishment, du has been innovating new channels to communicate with its customers to meet their needs quickly and with high quality. We work to strengthen our position as a leading company that strives to remain in touch with its customers beyond communications services. In line with our strategy to provide customised services to suit various segments of our customer base and enrich their experience, we have signed several partnerships with public and private companies. DEWA has developed DEWA Store after studying the opinions and feedback of its customers, partners, and members of society about its services to learn their views and suggestions about the value-added services that DEWA can provide to make its stakeholders happier. DEWA Store is yet another great reason for DEWA’s customers to use its smart app, which supports major platforms such as iOS and Android and provides all of DEWA’s services anytime, and anywhere, without the need to visit DEWA.
