Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced its diamond sponsorship of the 23rd Dubai International Holy Qur’an Award, one of the world's largest Quranic awards and competitions. The move supports DEWA’s efforts to support community, cultural, and Islamic initiatives,
“We are proud to sponsor the Dubai International Holy Qur’an Award, which was established by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. It is one of the key awards that spread Islamic culture and encourage the younger generations to memorise the Holy Qur’an. Our sponsorship of this international event is part of our ongoing efforts to highlight the role of the UAE in serving the people of the Islamic World, emphasise Dubai’s position as a cultural and humanitarian hub,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
