HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer MD & CEO of DEWA received in his office at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority a delegation from German company Siemens Energy. The delegation included Dr. Roland Fischer, Chief Executive Officer of Fossil Power Generation, Dietmar Siersdorfer, Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Middle East FZ-LLC, Energy Sector Cluster MEA, Marcus Brueckner, Senior Vice President, GT Power Plant Solutions Middle East and South Africa, Basim Akkawi, Corporate Account Manager, and Waleed Salman, EVP-Strategy and Business Development from DEWA. His Excellency welcomed the delegation and stressed the importance of working with Siemens Energy, one of the world’s leading energy companies. “This meeting promotes collaboration between DEWA and Siemens, especially in the field of power generation through clean coal technologies, solar power, gas turbines, projects of power production and solutions, as well as strengthening partnership with Siemens Energy to serve future projects,” said His Excellency. The delegation briefed His Excellency on the services provided by the company in the United Arab Emirates, as Dubai is one of the most important markets for Siemens Energy. Siemens’ solutions keep pace with the rapid development of power demand efficiently and reliably through technologies of fossil power generation, especially gas used in gas turbines, clean coal technologies, and other sources of renewable energy. At the end of the visit, the delegation extended their thanks to His Excellency for the warm reception and the opportunities given to closely look at DEWA and its projects
