“Observing Flag Day coincides with the anniversary of the accession of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the presidency of the UAE, and embodies the meanings of unity and solidarity in the UAE, the country that are proud to belonging to. This special occasion, on which we raise the UAE’s flag high, promotes the love, loyalty, and belonging to the UAE. It’s an occasion when the people of the UAE show their support for the wise leadership. Celebrating this important National occasion annually, emphasises the unity and solidarity of the UAE people under the flag of the Union, which is a symbol of pride. We are ready to sacrifice everything so that the flag flutters aloft, proving to the world that we stand united behind our wise leadership, to take the UAE to the forefront,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
“On this occasion that is dear to our hearts, we congratulate His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. We reiterate our loyalty to the UAE’s flag and renew our pledge to keep it high by continuing hard, dedicated, and sincere work to achieve the prosperity of our homeland. We pray to Allah Almighty that prosperity and dignity continue forever for our beloved country.”
