“It is my honour to congratulate His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai and President of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, on the historic launch of the Hope Probe to Mars. This confirms that the UAE has become a pioneering country in space science and technologies. This achieves the vision of the late Founding Father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, who pioneered the UAE’s interest in exploring space. This historic milestone also supports the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to revive the Arab civilisation and prepare the next generation of Arab astronomers and space scientists,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
