High-Level Korean Delegation visits DEWA

H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) received at his office in DEWA’s headquarters a high-level Korean delegation comprising Mr. Kwon Hong-Sa Chairman of Bando Engineering & Construction Co. LTD, H.E. Park Kyu Ock Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Dubai, Mr. Yoo Myoungsoo Senior Consul for Economic & Trade Affairs, Mr. Kim In Kyu, Department Manager of Bando Engineering & Construction Co. LTD, and Mr. Park Jae Myung, Project Director. The Korean delegation praised the facilities and services rendered by DEWA in favor of the Korean companies working in Dubai. These facilities enabled these companies to deliver their distinguished services in a continuous manner. In addition, the two sides elaborated on bilateral relations. H.E. Al Tayer welcomed the Korean delegation presenting DEWA’s work and activities, as well as the constant development and progress in its services, emphasizing on the fact that DEWA is keen on consolidating the frameworks of collaboration and coordination with South Korea at top levels. The Korean delegation discussed the possibilities of enhancing the collaboration with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority as well as following up the accomplishments of the Korean companies working in Dubai. At the end of the visit, the delegation extended thanks to H.E. the MD & CEO of DEWA for his warm reception and providing them with a close look at the Authority and its projects. It is noteworthy that UAE-Korean facets of investment include IT projects, heavy industries like steel industry, public machinery, trade vessels, giant oil & gas tankers manufacturing, vehicles, in addition to the petrochemicals and renewable energy.
