MD & CEO of DEWA receives Executive Vice President of the Korean Company “Samsung”

His Excellency Saeed Mohamed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, received in his office a delegation from the South Korean company “Samsung” – Engineering and Construction Group. The delegation was presided by Mr. Howard Kim, EVP and Director of the company in MENA region. HE Al Tayer welcomed the delegation and stressed the importance of collaboration with “Samsung”, which is one of the most important key contractors in the field of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction. HE pointed out that this meeting aims to promote the well established strategic cooperation between DEWA and “Samsung”. HE also welcomed the participation of the South Korean companies in privatization projects to produce Electricity and Water. The delegation briefed HE Al Tayer on the company’s services which are based on Engineering and Construction projects, as “Samsung” was one of the most salient companies which participated in building Burj Khalifa in Dubai. At the end of the visit, the delegation extended their thanks to HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer MD & CEO of DEWA for the warm reception and the opportunities given to closely look at DEWA and its projects.
