DEWA HONORS 39 DISTINGUISHED EMPLOYEES

In line with its strategy to promote a culture of excellence and loyalty among its employees, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has rewarded 39 distinguished employees within the Distinguished Individual Category, Mawaheb (Talent Exhibition) and Job Satisfaction categories in a ceremony held at DEWA’s Head Office in Zabeel East. HE Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, joined by Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, EVP- Business Support, has honored DEWA’s distinguished employees in the presence of a number of DEWA’s senior managers and employees. “In line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to enhance employees’ loyalty and encourage them to make more achievements and improve in excellence in addition to developing DEWA’s services,” said His Excellency. “DEWA is implementing its strategy to invest in human resouraces and its management works on the development of their productivity, skills and the competitivness of its employees by adopting best international practices, excellence and quality standards to ensure the improvement of the services DEWA provides to its customers to achieve its vision to be “A recognized world class utility,” he added. “The program for rewarding employees at DEWA, which has been running for several years, achieved several positive results which have contributed to innovation, employee satisfaction and has enhanced competition amongst employees to present themselves to the best of their abilities,” said Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, EVP – Business Support. During the ceremony, the following employees were honored within the Distinugished Individuals Category: Maryam Al Neami, Maith Al Mazmi, Salima Dinar, Nabeel Elahi, Dino Talukder, Mathew Varghese, Mohammad Mahbubul Haque, Yasser El Sherbiniy, Badria Albloushi, Amel Al Hammadi, Kamal Alradaide, Ohsem Baig, Amin Amin, Ahmed Al Naqbi, Ayesha Sarwashi, Salwa Khadim, Ameer Murikoli and Usama Radwan. The following employees were commended for their participation in the Talents Exibition: Mayssa El Masri, Omar Sharif, Hanan Alhammadi, Fahad Bin Afira, Shakila Albalooshi, Noor Siyam, Fatima Aljesmi, Hamda Graiban, Wafa Hassan Mohammed, Asma Al Marzouqi, Ahmad Ali Shah, Maryam Samin Saquer and Awad Awad. Also, the following employees were honored for their participation in the Job Satisfaction Survey: Rashid Rafiq, Abi Samuel, Ali Moghaddasi, Parakkat Jaseel, Sheethal Smitha, Raed Noureddin Mohammed and Maysaa Al Kilani. Finally, Srinivas Rajoo was honored for his suggestion in the Tawasol suggestion scheme.
