DEWA hosts delegation from US-based Navigant Consulting

As part of the visits of delegations from international companies to Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer today received in his office a delegation from US company Navigant Consulting. The delegation included David Allen, Managing Director, International Consultancy, Ian Smith, Managing Director of the Energy Sector, and Talal Al Salam, Regional Consultant for International Practices. Al Tayer said that DEWA welcomes companies with experience and competencies in the field of consulting and renewable energy. He also briefed them on the work of DEWA and its future projects. The delegation discussed with Al Tayer about their organisation and areas of work in the energy sector, including renewables, solar energy, energy transfer and storage, smart grids, and energy demand management, and how to reduce risk and improve performance in the energy sector. They thanked Al Tayer for the warm welcome.
