DEWA honours 35 distinguished employees

In line with its efforts to recognise its employees for their dedicated service, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) honoured 35 distinguished employees as part of the Distinguished Employee and Best Team categories for the fourth quarter of 2012. HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, accompanied by Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, EVP of Business Support and Human Resources at DEWA, honoured the distinguished employees at an awards ceremony held at DEWA Headquarters in the presence of EVPs, VPs, senior officials, and employees from DEWA. Al Tayer praised the dedicated work of DEWA’s employees and assured that the higher management is committed to supporting its employees, and providing a competitive work environment in Dubai and the UAE. “We continually reinforce a culture of excellence amongst our staff to improve DEWA’s overall performance to the highest levels,” said Al Tayer. “DEWA is keen to recognise distinguished employees throughout the year and further strengthen their loyalty and sense of belonging. Through this ceremony, we aim to promote a culture of creativity and urge our staff to strive for excellence, and improve their skills and increase their productivity,” said Dr. Al Akraf. HE Al Tayer honoured the winners in the Distinguished Employee category: Mohammed Abdul Haque, Salah Alsammak, Amr Abdel Moniem, Haseeb Vadakke Painkal, Mahmoud Mazen Mahmoud, Fakhar Ul-Islam Nawab Khan, Mohammed Helal Uddin Khan, Ghalya Abdelsamad Suloum, Deepa Panthavoor Sukumaran, Mohammed Husain A Shaikh, Khalid Ahmed Peshimam Mohammed, Farooq Ahmed M A Khan, Mohammed Riyazudeen, Amer Reda Jawad Reda Mohammed, Saeed Mohd Al Qaizi, Roudha Abdulbasit Almajid, Maricel Maneclang Mendoza, Maysaa Alkilani, and Anvar Khan Saffarulla Khan. Al Tayer also honoured the winners of Best Team category: Yahya Alzafeen on behalf of Nasser Lootah, EVP –Genration, Majid Abdulla Al Mohamed, Mohammed Hassan Alahmadi, Adil Mohammed Alfarsi, Herbert Bonnevie Cezar, Mohammed Salem Desouki Abdelmeguid, Khalid Salah Suleiman Ali, Arsenio Jr Marasigan Rodriguez, Ali Khalfan Mohammed Al Room, Mohammad Ismail Ali Hal, Faisal A Khaliq Mohammed Ali, Rashed Juma Rashed Bin Jarsh, Ayub Abdulla Mohammed Al Awadhi, Saeed Ahmad Mohammed Al Aghbari,Samer Mohd Abdul Rahim, Jaber and Mohd Al Haj Alkhoori.
