DEWA’s MD and CEO receives Executive Director of DMCA

In line with its efforts to promote coordination among various government entities, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA) MD and CEO HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, received today in his office at DEWA’s headquarters HE Amer Ali, Executive Director of Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA), to discuss ways to enhance cooperation to achieve the economic development goals of the Emirate of Dubai. The meeting was attended by Dr Yousef Al Akraf, EVP of Business Support, Husain Lootah, EVP of Transmission Power, Waleed Salman, EVP of Strategy and Business Development, and Yousef Jebril, EVP, Power and Water Planning. The meeting discussed the services provided by DEWA to DMCA, with the infrastructure platform managed by DEWA playing a vital role in the economic growth of Dubai. DEWA has continuously fulfilled the needs of electricity and water services as per international standards. “Led by our vision to become a sustainable world-class utility, DEWA is effectively contributing to the social, economic, and environmental development of Dubai by providing uninterrupted supplies of electricity and water,” said Al Tayer. Al Tayer praised the role of DMCA in building a green economy in the commercial and tourism sectors in line with Dubai vision to promote its position a global hub for finance, business, and tourism. HE Amer Ali explained the mechanisms and processes followed by the DMCA to promote collaboration and joint work amongst the governmental departments and private organisations associated with maritime sector in Dubai. Ali thanked Al Tayer for hospitality and continuous collaboration and support.
