DEWA receives delegation from Beit Al Khair Society

In line with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA) strategy to serve as a socially responsible organisation in the Emirate of Dubai, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, received a high-level delegation from Beit Al Khair Society headed by, Abdeen Al-Awadhi, Director of the Society and Abdullah Al Ustaz, Assistant Director General of the Society. “Being socially responsible is a top priority at DEWA, and we continue to support various charitable and philanthropic initiatives and activities to spread awareness on the importance of giving back to our community,” said Al Tayer. “Beit Al Khair Society is one of DEWA’s strategic partners, and we show our appreciation to His Excellency Juma Al Majid, Chairman of Beit Al Khair Society , and the members of its Board of Directors for their charitable activities to achieve social community development and spread happiness among various segments of the society,” added Al Tayer. The Director of the Society stressed on the importance of the meeting and strengthening cooperation between both organisations. He praised the DEWA’s openness to communication, which will contribute to support joint efforts to serve charitable activities for the common good and of all the society. The two parties discussed ways of cooperating and promoting support towards people on welfare, in addition to reaching a mutual understanding on of charity and humanitarian work. The visiting delegation thanked DEWA for the reception, and the Director of the Society presented an appreciation shield to DEWA for its cooperation in supporting various activities and events.
