Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has honoured 37 of its distinguished staff in the two categories of Best Cable Jointers and Internal Trainers. The ceremony was attended by Hussain Lootah, Executive Vice President of Power Transmission, Abdullah Al Hajri, Executive Vice President of Customer Services, Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, Executive Vice President of Business Support and Human Resources, Waleed Salman, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, and a number of DEWA employees. “DEWA is committed to the development of its staff in all areas and across all sectors. Lootah honoured the Internal Trainers of 2013: Sultan Abdulla Al Zaabi, Taha Al Hamri, Mirza Islam, Mohammed Rahman, Mansoor Ali, Mohammad Awan, Samarajan Govardhanan, Samy Gawad, Dr. Heena Bulchandani, Fiazuddin Ahmed, Dr. Romit Purohit, Mohammed Milhem, Fahmi Abdein, Negib Guermech, Reem Fayyad, Ahlam Rahman, Abdul Al Awadhi, Joseph Mangalath, Alomgir Hossain, Islam Abuhamdah, Moustafa Shahin, Elfatih Hassan, Nabil Gabr, Khalid Suleiman, Muhammad Khan, Edward Cosmiano, Arsenio Rodriguez, Herbert Cezar, Rajesh Mangalore, Reuben Andrews, Mohammed Ismail, Tarek Tawfik, and Khaled Awad. Dr. Al Akraf honoured winners in the Best Cable Jointers category in the first quarter of 2014 from the Projects Execution department, of Distribution Power: Ghulam Qaudir, Samiullah Ansari, Anil Pillai, and Ponnuduri Nadar.
