HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has received in his office, a delegation from Al Futtaim Group. The visit is one of a series of visits by major national companies to DEWA. The delegation included Dawood Bin Ozair, Senior Managing Director of Electronics, Engineering & Technologies, Fadi Chivi, General Manager of GMASCO, Venkata Raghavan, General Manager of Al Futtaim Technology, Yousif Ali BinZayed, Assistant General Manager of Business Development, and Charles Awad, Director of Group Marketing Communications at Al Futtaim. The meeting was attended by Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, Executive Vice President of Business Support and Human Resources, Ahmed Abdulla, Senior Manager of External Communications, and Arif Julfar, Senior Manager of Client Relations at DEWA. The meeting is yet another example of DEWA’s collaboration with its partners, especially in infrastructure and development projects, and Al Futtaim Group’s participation in DEWA’s initiatives and projects to support sustainable development. During the meeting, Al Futtaim Group’s current and future projects and plans were discussed, including how DEWA is meeting the needs of the projects and keeping up with future demand for electricity and water. “To achieve its vision to become a sustainable world-class utility, DEWA seeks, through its projects and initiatives, to enhance the infrastructure and service utilities according to the highest international standards to meet the basic needs of citizens and residents. We believe in the importance of working hand-in-hand with all organisations to raise the standard of our services. We work with Al Futtaim Group and other partners to make additional excellent achievements in all our services and activities, to maintain Dubai’s position as a global hub for trade, finance, tourism and green economy,” said Al Tayer. At the end of the meeting, the Al Futtaim delegation thanked Al Tayer for the warm welcome and hospitality and for the opportunity to discuss mutu`ally-beneficial cooperation.
