DEWA Celebrates Al Nasr Club's President's Cup Win

DEWA celebrates with Al Nasr Club its winning of President’s Cup

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has received in his office today HE Marwan Bin Ghalaita, Chairman of Al Nasr Club and Al Nasr Football Company, Members of the Board of Directors, Abdullah Bu Amim, CEO of Al Nasr FC, and Humaid bin Ahmed Al Tayer, Member of the Board and supervisor of the first team. The meeting was to celebrate Al Nasr’s winning of the President Cup 2015 in football. The celebration was attended by HE Ahmed Buti Al Muhairbi, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Executive Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, and senior DEWA officials. “I heartily congratulate HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Al Nasr Club, HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group and Vice Chairman of Al Nasr Club, and to HH Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chairman of Al Nasr Club for the winning of the of the President football Cup 2015,” said HE Al Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer. “In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to encourage sports and athletes, DEWA dedicates a great deal of its activities to serve social issues including cultural and sports activities. We always communicate with government and private organisations and non-for-profit organisations to build bridges of cooperation with all society. This is part of DEWA’s corporate social responsibility strategy and its efforts to support youth creativity and sporting talents and take them to global levels,” added Al Tayer. After congratulating Al Nasr Club’s management, player, and fans on this historical accomplishment, Al Tayer and Bin Ghalaita cut a cake decorated with the club’s logo. Memorial photos with the trophy were then taken.
