HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has honoured 20 distinguished employees at a ceremony held at the DEWA headquarters. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, Executive Vice President of Business Support and Human Resources at DEWA, and a number of DEWA officials and staff. The move supports DEWA’s commitment to improving performance levels of its staff employees and enhancing their job loyalty. Al Tayer commended the efforts of the distinguished employees, noting that DEWA’s management takes care of all staff and is committed to strengthening all channels of communications with them across all divisions, to promote job satisfaction, improve the quality of services provided to customers, and improve overall operational processes at DEWA. “DEWA always motivates and encourages its staff and provides the proper environment for them to be creative, and develop their skills and make them happy. These recognition initiatives motivate staff and encourage positive energy, which is one of the most important success factors,” said Al Tayer. “The award ceremony, which DEWA organises, plays an important role in developing the work environment, and promoting a spirit of positive competitiveness among staff and divisions alike. DEWA also plays a great role in strengthening employee loyalty and satisfaction,” said Al Akraf. Al Tayer awarded the Best Cable Jointers winners for the Fourth Quarter 2014, to: Madan Ram, Viswanathan Radhakrishnan, Sarath Kurugundla, and Rajesh Valiyaveettil. The Best Cable Jointers Award Winners for the Year 2014 were presented to: Muhammad Ashraf, Safeer Ahmed, Mohammad Alam, and Heera Lal. The Customer Services winners for the 4th Quarter of 2014 were: Amer Al Falasi (Best Cashier), El Sayed Yousef (Best Cash Supervisor), Ayesha Al Saedi (Best Front line staff), Mushal Yousif Al Mulla (Best Front line Supervisor), Fatema Al Shaqai (Best Customer Care Agent), Mohamed Saleh (Best Customer Care Supervisor). The Customer Services winners for the Year 2014 were: Hamda Al Shehhi (Best Cashier), Ashraf Salem (Best Cash Supervisor), Maryam Yousuf (Best Front line staff), Amel Al Mas (Best Front line Supervisor), Mohamed Mitwaly (Best Customer Care Agent), Mounir Rizqi (Best Customer Care Supervisor).
