Oh reassured soul, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to him], and enter among my [righteous] servants and enter my paradise.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has extended his deepest condolences to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and to all the Al Maktoum family, as well as to the people of the UAE, on the passing away of Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who passed away on Saturday. Al Tayer prayed to Allah that His Highness’ soul will rest in eternal peace and that HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the brothers of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the people of the UAE, will have the forbearance to manage during this difficult time. “With the passing away of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE has lost a noble knight and an international athlete whose achievements raised the UAE flag in the international and regional equestrian world. He was also a philanthropic role model who extended his helping hand to the needy. May Allah reward him for his good deeds and for what he gave to his country, the Arab world, and the people of the world,” added Al Tayer. “May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace and make his abode in His spacious gardens with the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous. Excellent are those as companions. Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to him we will return,” said Al Tayer.
