DEWA is launching strategic initiatives and making significant progress towards becoming one of the best countries in the world, to achieve the UAE Vision 2021, and further developing Dubai’s position as a global hub for trade, finance and tourism, further reinforcing efforts to transform Dubai into a global centre for clean energy and green economy.

Bensarsa also expressed his intention to attend the World Green Economy Summit on 5–6 October, 2016 to contribute to discussions on renewable energy and innovation, which coincides with the Water, Energy, Environment, and Technology Exhibition (WETEX) 2016.
