HE Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) paid tribute to the late Lieutenant General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police by saying,

“The UAE has lost one of its loyal and faithful men. He worked day and night to protect homeland security and serve society. He was a role model of a successful leader who follows up on every small detail in his work until the last day of his life, to enhance the security and safety for all citizens and residents.”

"Personally, I have lost a dear friend. I worked closely with him for many years in several areas, including the Infrastructure Committee and international conferences and events, especially the World Energy Congress. He was a role model in following up on every detail, and in his effective contribution to achieve set goals. Our last meeting was two days before his passing away, when DEWA received the Business Continuity Management System certification. The late Lieutenant General Al Mazeina was the first person to go to the event as he was Chairman of the Crisis and Disasters Team in Dubai. He was committed to following up on joint work with government departments; contributing to taking it to higher levels of success,” added Al Tayer.

“I convey my deepest condolences to the family of the late Lieutenant General Al Mazeina, praying to Allah Almighty to bless his soul and to give comfort and condolence to his family and loved ones,” concluded Al Tayer.
