“I am honoured to congratulate His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, on the 11th anniversary of his accession. The UAE has made remarkable achievements under the government of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which is guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to bring the country to the forefront in everything it does. Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the federal government has become one of the most advanced and efficient governments in the world,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

“Launching the UAE Food Bank by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, emphasises that the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan who laid the foundations for humanitarian work in the UAE, is still alive. Giving and doing good deeds are key values in the UAE, which extends its helping hands to the needy all over the world. The initiative also emphasises that the principles of sharing, giving, and generosity are deeply rooted in the hearts of Emiratis.

At DEWA, we have a clear strategy and leading humanitarian and charitable initiatives to serve society and promote cohesion and bonding among its members, to make people happier. As His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has observed, “The fastest way to happiness is by instilling happiness in the hearts of others.”

“While we all congratulate His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on this occasion, which is dear to our hearts, we also congratulate ourselves for having a leader whose vision and wisdom have transformed Dubai into a global role model for excellence and development.
