Al Tayer receives Director General of Dubai Government Human Resources Department

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), received HE Abdullah bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of Dubai Government Human Resources Department. The meeting was attended by Dr. Yousef Al Akraf, Executive Vice President of Business Support and Human Resources at DEWA. The visit is part of DEWA’s efforts to strengthen communication and integration between various government organisations in Dubai.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al Tayer welcomed Al Falasi and congratulated him on his new post, wishing him all the success. Al Tayer stressed on the importance of these meetings, which support the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to strengthen cooperation between government departments. This allows them to provide distinguished services, according to the highest international standards, for citizens and residents, and develop performance levels, to reach the highest degree of excellence.

Al Tayer stressed the strategic partnership between the two sides, highlighting that cooperation between governmental departments, in Dubai, is an essential part of DEWA’s strategic work, in achieving its vision and future aspirations.

Al Tayer also shed light on DEWA’s efforts to encourage and motivate Emiratisation policies, to support the role and contribution of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department to achieve the objectives of the UAE Vision 2021 by investing in Emiratis skills, building a generation that keeps pace with the government and the future. This includes encouraging citizens wishing to complete their studies inside and outside the country in various fields of energy, and qualify them scientifically and practically to play a positive role in the process of work, in addition to being able to compete in the labour market.
