During the Holy Month of Ramadan, 100 employees from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA) non-supervisory staff performed Umrah, as part of the ‘Umrat Zayed Al Khair’ campaign launched by DEWA for the second consecutive year. The campaign enables staff to visit the Holy Mosque, to perform Umrah, without any financial burden. HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, congratulated the employees involved in the campaign on the completion of Umrah, and wished them all happiness and tranquility.
“We are delighted to bring happiness to the hearts of our employees by enabling them to visit Mecca and perform Umrah during the Holy Month of Ramadan and bear all the financial expenses. At DEWA, we are fully convinced that employees are the key to achieving institutional excellence at all levels and divisions,” said Al Tayer.
