The visit aimed at enhancing collaboration between both parties and sharing knowledge, experience, and best practices by DEWA, as well as benchmarking. DEWA provides electricity and water services according to the highest standards of availability, reliability, and efficiency to make all customers and stakeholders happy.
Al Tayer welcomed the delegation and highlighted the importance of the fruitful collaboration between both organisations in energy and water. He also highlighted DEWA’s programmes, plans, and projects to achieve the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to improve performance, productivity, and quality of services. It ensures diversifying its energy supplies to use 75% of the total energy output in Dubai from clean energy sources by 2050. DEWA launched several projects and initiatives to achieve this goal, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the largest single-site solar park in the world with a planned capacity of 5,000 MW in 2030,” said Al Tayer.
“In line with its vision as a globally leading sustainable innovative corporation, DEWA works on enriching customers experience by saving their time and efforts and making them happy. This is by providing AI-based services. DEWA has become a role model for best practices in designing customer experience and excellence in services,” said Al Tayer.
