Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) Women’s Committee organised a series of virtual artistic workshops for the children of its female employees. The initiative is aimed at enhancing their skills in drawing cartoons, making animated books, and developing their artistic capabilities and imagination.

Fatima Mohammed Al Jokar, Chairperson of DEWA Women’s Committee, stressed the significance of these workshops in supporting its female staff to raise a conscious and responsible generation contributing to the UAE’s prosperity and development. “DEWA Women’s Committee aims to support all female employees, especially working mothers. We are committed to meeting their needs and helping them succeed in their professional and personal lives. We strive to provide a stimulating and happy work environment for a balance between their professional, social and family lives. The Women’s Committee organises year-round awareness, educational and training events to enhance the capabilities of female employees. These efforts enable them to raise a promising generation and strengthen their role in building cohesive, interdependent and happy families while contributing to sustainable social development. These activities are highly important, as they play a key role in children developing their creative skills. We are pleased with the great turnout, active participation, and positive engagement during these events,” said Al Jokar.

DEWA’s female staff praised the Women’s Committee for its efforts to identify areas of interest and improve their productivity and happiness.
