The 23rd Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) and Dubai Solar Show (DSS) has attracted several Egyptian companies and the Engineering Export Council of Egypt. These companies are specialised in electricity, water, environment, LED lighting, smart and sustainable infrastructure and water treatment.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is organising the exhibition under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy from 5 to 7 October 2021 at Expo 2020 Dubai.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, Founder and Chairman of WETEX and DSS, said that the exhibition is an ideal opportunity for increasing the MENA region’s contribution to global efforts to achieve sustainable development. Al Tayer praised the increasing number of Egyptian participants, reflecting the increased use of renewable and clean energy technologies in the UAE and the region.

“The exhibition is an important platform for companies, organisations, and investors in technologies of water, environment, oil and gas, conventional and renewable energy, green developments and relevant sectors from the region and the world. It enables them to showcase their solutions and products, sign partnerships and promote green technologies. It also helps them learn about the latest innovations and technologies and empower startups in the UAE and the world in their mission to shape the future of green energy. WETEX and DSS also help visitors and exhibitors learn from the success stories and best international practices in energy and water, as well as learn about the latest market needs,” added Al Tayer.

The exhibition is spread over 29,200 square metres and has more than 1,200 companies from 55 countries. Free entrance with early registration on the website http://www.wetex.ae is recommended.
