DEWA Women’s Committee organises a trip to the Museum of the Future

The Women’s Committee at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) organised a trip for over 50 female employees from various divisions to the Museum of the Future, one of the key modern landmarks in Dubai. The visit aimed to be an exploratory experience in a scientific environment equipped with the best means and tools to promote innovation.

Fatima Al Jokar, Chairperson of the Women’s Committee at DEWA, noted that the social and practical activities organised by the Committee support DEWA’s strategy to provide a happy, positive and motivational work environment for its staff.

“Excursions and educational trips are an important aspect of the social activities the Committee is keen to include in its annual programme. This type of activity contributes to achieving a balance between the professional and social lives of female employees, in addition to enhancing social cohesion, which reflects positively on their job performance,” added Al Jokar.

DEWA’s female employees who participated in the trip commended the keenness of the top management for supporting women and providing a positive and happy work environment that motivates them to unleash their potential and achieve a balance between their work and social lives.

The Museum of the Future is one of the most developed buildings in the world with its unique design and character, which is seen in the Arabic lines engraved on it, all the way to the use of 3D printing technology in the construction processes.
