An official delegation of Omani Mazoon Electricity Company visited Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), in order to have a closer look at the best practices of DEWA and exchange expertise, experience and achievements with DEWA in the fields of customer services, billing, receivables and Customer Call Centres. The Omani delegation was headed by Salim Said Al Kamyani, Commercial Affairs Manager, AbdulRahman Saleh Al Harrasi, Head of Billing, Salim Sulait Al Toubi, Head of Collections, and Hamed Al Rawahi, Accountant. The group from DEWA included Omar bin Sahoh, Manager, Customer Care Center, Saleh Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Manager - Customer Service Centers, Huda Al Rais, Services Development Executive, Ahmed Hassan, Senior Manager - Metering, Muhsin Muhammad, Director - Cutting and Resupply, Adnan Beshalat, Deputy Director of Meter Reading at the Department of Ports, Jamal Al Theeb, Senior Executive - Billing Services, Salayem BelSuwaida, Manager – Consumption Categories Classification, and Mohammed Alhameeri, Manager of Billing and Performance Monitoring. The group from DEWA presented a comprehensive explanation of its experiences in applying best practices in the field of service and customer care, billing and receivables, and also provided an explanation of the methodologies used in the body. The team stressed during the meeting the importance of strengthening various channels and means of cooperation to exchange experiences and also improve relations and collaboration between DEWA and Mazoon Electricity Company of Oman. At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation praised the achievements of DEWA and its practices, hoping to continue cooperation and exchange of experiences between DEWA and the company in various fields. Mazoon Electricity Company is a closed Omani joint stock company registered under the Commercial Companies Law of Oman. The company is primarily undertaking regulated distribution and supply of electricity in the Dakiliya, Sharqiya and South Al Batinah regions under a license issued by the Oman Authority for Electricity Regulation.
