Aimed at Exchanging Expertise and Best Practices Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) received members from Emirates Transport’s Strategic Relationships Team at the main headquarters. The visit comes within the framework of exchanging expertise and experiences and exerting efforts to further strengthen cooperation among public and private institutions, while enhancing joint work to achieve the mutual goals and aspirations that contribute to serving public interest. HE Saeed Mohamed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, received the delegation headed by HE Mohammed Abdullah Al Jarman, General Manager of Emirates Transport along with the strategic relations team. The delegation consisted of Abdullah Mohammed Al Kindi, Executive Director of the Business Development Department, Amer Ali Harmoudi, Executive Director of the Technical Services Department, Badr Mahmoud Attar, Executive Director of the Logistics Department, Walid Salem Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Transport & Leasing Department, and Arif Hassan Al Balushi, Director of the Marketing Department. Present from DEWA side were Waleed Salman, Executive Vice President for Strategic Business Development, and Dr. Yousef Ibrahim Al Akraf, Executive Vice President for Business Support & Human Resources. Maryam Althani, Senior Manager of Corporate Partnership and Shamma Essa Lootah, Assistant Manager of Strategy Awareness were also present. DEWA officials gave presentations on its methods of communication and outreach surrounding its partners, customers and the public, as well as their mechanisms and strategies driven by innovation, creativity, services, and institutional excellence. The officials also reviewed DEWA’s achievements in customer services, which included the reduction of waiting time for frontline services from 15 minutes to 10 minutes, strengthened further to just 8 minutes, while time for bill payments dropped from 10 minutes to 7 minutes, and currently stands at 5 minutes. The delegation provided an overview on Emirates Transport’s strategic plans and latest services of business centres, and discussed ways to promote the existing collaboration with DEWA. The delegation thanked DEWA officials for their warm hospitality and dedication in providing them the opportunity to gain an overview of DEWA’s best practices in operations, management, and services.
