This is a significant achievement for the whole world. It will provide the first complete picture of the Martian atmosphere and provide the global scientific community with important information about the Red Planet. The Hope Probe has consolidated the UAE’s pioneering global position in space sciences and technologies and has promoted the UAE’s role as a regional hub for developing space sciences and technologies in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to revive the Arab civilisation and prepare the next generation of Arab astronomers and space scientists,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
“This unique achievement by the sons and daughters of Zayed affirms that the word ‘impossible’ does not exist in the dictionary of Emiratis, and that our wise leadership is committed to investing in talented Emiratis and providing them with an environment that encourages creativity, and all the resources they need to achieve leadership and excellence. This milestone crowns the journey of Emirati people over 50 years as we celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the UAE’s foundation and marks a starting point for another 50 years of progress and prosperity, as the UAE aims to be the world’s leading nation by its Centennial in 2071,” added Al Tayer.
