DEWA Women’s Committee organises craft workshops for female employees

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA)’s Women Committee organised three craft workshops for female employees in collaboration with Skill Lab in Dubai. This aims to enhance their skills in several areas, including making rugs, types of coffee, and floral decoration.

Fatima Al Jokar, Chairperson of the Women’s Committee, said that DEWA’s top management works to provide a positive and happy work environment for its female employees. Such activities empower and support leadership and creative potential and help develop their personal and life skills to deal with challenges, build cohesive and happy families, and prepare a safe and healthy future generation. This positively reflects in their career and social lives, in addition to achieving their happiness and enhancing their productivity and contribution to DEWA’s success.

DEWA Women’s Committee strives to organise cultural and awareness workshops that not only impact DEWA but also positively impact the whole society. The Women’s Committee collaborates with other concerned organisations to hold workshops to develop female employee skills, consolidate e national identity, and promote the Emirati culture and the noble values of Emirati society.
