DEWA tops global rankings as it earns platinum recognition at people and well-being awards

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) won the Investors in People Platinum Category Award for 2025, marking its second achievement of the most prestigious level of this global accolade. DEWA also received the Invest in Wellbeing Platinum Category Award for 2025 on its debut participation. Further cementing its global leadership, DEWA ranked first worldwide among large organisations with more than 5,000 employees and was recognised as the largest company in this category. It also secured the top global ranking across the electricity and water sectors. These achievements follow a rigorous evaluation by Investors in People assessors from the UK.

DEWA first received the Investors in People Platinum Category Award in 2022, making it the only large enterprise with more than 5,000 employees to earn this prestigious accolade worldwide (excluding the United Kingdom) and the sole recipient of this recognition in the Middle East. DEWA won the same award (gold category) in 2011, 2013, 2016 and 2019. This recognition is considered as a global standard that identifies unique practices in human resources to achieve corporate objectives and strategic directives.
