Public Safety Week 2009 (Safety First) For Children Inauguration in Dubai Festival City

The Campaign of Public safety week for children starts on Sunday, June 14, 2009 and until June 16, 2009 in Dubai Festival City that is organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority. This Campaign considered as one of DEWA's activates for yearly safety week, which are conducting internally for the seventh year and the leadership organizing of this event externally comes to increase its benefits and polarize the public and more who are interested His Excellency, Saeed M. Al Tayer - Manager Director and Chief Executive Officer of DEWA Inaugurated the week with opening speech, referred to DEWA's vision and strategy which is enhancing Occupational Health and safety Culture through creating a safely work environment chiefly to all employees and customers. The main object of this campaign with the slogan (Safety first) is awareness in public safety related matters for children of all ages. His Excellency MD& CEO referred to the significance of this event which considered as high dais to stabilizes children awareness about non-adherence hazards of Safety instructions (steps) in Home. After the Inauguration, His Excellency, Saeed M. Al Tayer, declared the opening with all his best wishes to all the participants. Safety Week Programme includes a lot of activities, awareness sessions and edification for children in Dubai Festival City for a week from 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm. Puppet show is one of the characteristic activity to children that narrates stories and tales and concludes with wisdom or advice related to Health and Safety. In safety corner there is photographing session with children who are wearing masks act like safety characters whereupon your children can participate and have a photograph as a souvenir. In T-Shirt Painting activity, children can participate and paint freely on T-shirt has drawing with safety subjects.
