HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer MD & CEO of DEWA: One of DEWA’s top priorities is providing psychological and familial stability to its staff DEWA celebrates the wedding of 36 couples Under patronage and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance and President of DEWA, and His Highness Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, DEWA held the 4th Mass Wedding Ceremony “Anwar Dubai” for its male and female staff at Park Tower opposite to Khalifa Tower. This mass wedding ceremony is a continuation of DEWA’s constant approach to care for its staff and encourage them to reach psychological and social stability. Khalifa Tower, which is the tallest building in the world, was chosen for this occasion to disseminate the happiness and joy among all the audience. This occasion also coincides with DEWA’s celebrations of its 50th Anniversary – Golden Jubilee. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the sponsor of the ceremony was received by HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, HE Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), H E Humaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Kendi, Chairman of Lease Committee - Dubai Municipality, a number of GM’s, senior officials of Dubai Departments, senior DEWA staff as well as the families and friends of the couples. Military folklore Band “Saeed bin Mazyoud Band” performed folklore dances accompanied by traditional music and the show of “Dubai Fountain” In Burj Khalifa Lake. The couples lined to greet the sponsor of the ceremony and the guests, who extended their greetings and congratulations. The couples also shook hands with His Highness the sponsor of the ceremony and took group photos with him, and then everyone was invited to the dinner organized by the Authority on this occasion. At the end of the ceremony, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA extended his thanks and appreciation to the sponsor of the ceremony for the due care given by His Highness to the nationals in terms of securing their psychological and social stability.
