DEWA Celebrates 15th Night of Sha'ban with Comers to Dubai Airport

As part of its celebrations of the 15th Night of Sha’ban DEWA receives the comers to Dubai Airport with gifts and sweets

As part of its celebration of the 15th of Sha’ban Night, commonly known in the United Arab Emirates as (Hag Al Layla), Corporate Communication Department at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, in collaboration with Dubai International Airport, has organized this event for the second year in a row. This celebration comes within the framework of DEWA’s interest to communicate with society, conserve the national heritage and strengthen social ties through the revival of local customs and traditions in compliance with DEWA’s strategic objectives. Some cartoon characters including “Bou Mhir”, “Afari”, and “Chambeih” participated in the event by receiving comers to Dubai International Airport and distributed gifts and sweets for them and bringing joy and happiness to everyone. The coming passengers gathered to take photos with the cartoon characters. The corporate communications team included Asma Abdul Qadir, Mariam Ali Muassam, Maryam Saeed, Maryam Abdullah and Fatma Salem Al Shamsi provided simple explanations on the celebrations for the coming passengers, as it is one of the popular Emirati events.
