All these endeavors intend to facilitate and streamline Dubai’s drive towards an economy with low carbon emissions from environmental, economical and social aspects in a responsible way. Moreover, the Centre aims to unprecedentedly respond to the Emirate’s world responsibilities to address climate change in a way that leads to environmental sustainability and economic profits.” DCCE was launched in 2011 as per the directives from His Highness Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Council of Energy, through an agreement executed between Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and the United Nations Development Programme.” DCCE was set up as a mutual project between public sector and private sector.
