Vice Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Council of Energy receives a delegation from Dubai Ports World

His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Council of Energy, received a delegation from DP World comprising His Excellency Mohammed Sharaf, CEO of DP World, and Mohammed Al Muallem, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, DP World, with Nejib Zaafrani, Secretary General and CEO of Dubai’s Supreme Council of Energy in attendance. His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer welcomed the delegation, noting that this meeting aims to foster collaboration with DP World and to strengthen the criteria of excellent government performance, which is one of the basic pillars of achieving the aspirations to pursue the march of renaissance and development which the UAE is witnessing in all fields. The delegation briefed His Excellency on the requirements of the expansion of activities requested by the energy companies at Jebel Ali, as DP World is currently carrying out strategic projects aiming to develop business and consequently promote Dubai’s economy. Moreover, the talks tackled the willingness of energy companies dealing with petroleum products at Jebel Ali to plan and perform their own projects. His Excellency Saeed Al Tayer showed great interest in keeping pace with the requirements of expansion requested by the organizations and providing them with everything that can help with their expansion plans and the anticipated growth of their business. These requirements include providing DP World with data and studies relevant to demand for oil in the Emirate of Dubai during the twenty coming years. At the end of the visit, DP World delegation thanked His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of Dubai’s Supreme Council of Energy for providing them with the opportunity to closely look at the Council and its achievements, praising the facilities and services provided by the council to private and public agencies and organizations in Dubai.
