Dubai Autism Center recognizes DEWA for its continuous support

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, received HE Mohammad Al Amadi, Board Member and Director General of The Dubai Autism Centre (DAC), at DEWA’s headquarters. This meeting was attended by Abdallah Obeidullah, EVP-Water and Civil Engineering, Abdullah Al Hajri, EVP-Customer Service Division, Khawla Al Mehairi, VP-Marketing and Corporate Communications at DEWA, and a number of top officials from both sides. HE Mohammad Al Amadi presented a trophy to HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA in recognition of DEWA’s efforts and valuable contribution to supporting DAC’s activities and events, especially the recently-held conference Autism under the Microscope. During the meeting, His Excellency said that DEWA’s support for all social institutions falls in line with its strategic focus on social responsibility, social development, the common good and enhancing public awareness of all society’s issues. Also, DEWA gives due care to humanitarian and social activities and provides all possible requirements to promote Dubai’s society, whether individuals or institutions, and enhance social development. “DAC plays an important role in increasing social awareness and shedding more light on the victims of this disease and their needs, as it speaks for them at all local, regional and international levels. It also contributes to providing all psychological and educational facilities, as well as specialized medical staff,” explained His Excellency. DEWA has offered sponsorships to several social institutions, government and private organizations, and public-interest organizations, to enhance the performance and efficiency of society in the fields of development and social care. This, in turn, helps the UAE’s society and provides for all its needs.
