DEWA’s MD and CEO receives the Consul General of Japan for Dubai

As part of the visits made by the diplomatic missions and consulates in Dubai to Dubai Electricity and water Authority (DEWA), HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, received HE Matsunaga Daisuke, the Consul General of Japan for Dubai at DEWA’s headquarters to discuss the existing and future collaboration between the two and to stress the strong relationship between Dubai and Japan. At the beginning of the visit, Al Tayer welcomed the Japanese Consul General, explaining to him DEWA’s business, activities and continuous progress. His Excellency also emphasized the fact DEWA is keen to strengthen collaboration and coordination with Japan at the highest levels. Al Tayer also stressed the importance of mutual collaboration between DEWA and Japanese companies in the energy sector to provide broader opportunities, share expertise and make the best use of Japanese experience. The Japanese Consul General elaborated on ways of promoting collaboration with DEWA and following up the Japanese companies existing in Dubai. At the end of the meeting, the Japanese delegation thanked Al Tayer for providing them with such an opportunity and briefing them on DEWA’s projects and plans as well as the concern to foster collaboration with the Japanese companies.
