DEWA delegation visits Dubai Police to exchange experiences in national identity and organisational partnership

A delegation from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) visited Dubai Police to share experiences and best practices in promoting national identity, organisational partnership, and joint community initiatives. The visit supports DEWA’s strategy to cooperate with different government organisations in the UAE. DEWA delegation was received, at Dubai Police Officers Club, by HE Major General Mohammed Saeed Al Marri, Director of the General Department of Community Service at the General Headquarters of Dubai Police, and Dubai Police officials. DEWA’s delegation included Maryam Al-Mutaiwei, Vice President of Human Resources, Mohammed Al Shamsi, VP of Civil Projects Engineering & Water Maintenance, Taha Al Hamri, Specialist, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Maryam Althani, Senior Manager of Partnership, Khuloud Al Ali, Manager of Media Relations and Engagement, Ahmed Al Shamsi, Deputy Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, Awadh Al Falasi, Manager of Security, and a number of DEWA staff. Al Marri presented an overview of the major programmes and initiatives led by Dubai Police related to promoting national identity and organisational partnership. He emphasised Dubai Police’s commitment to enhancing joint work with all national organisations to realise the vision of the UAE’s leadership. “To achieve its vision to become a sustainable world-class utility, DEWA wants to exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices in different areas, especially national identity, organisational partnership, and develop a framework for implementing new initiatives that serve all segments of society and contribute to strengthening national identity in line with the vision and strategy of Dubai Government,” said Khawla Al Mehairi, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications at DEWA. “At DEWA, we work continuously to strengthen national identity internally and externally by holding a number of national events that we organise in collaboration with different stakeholders, to promote national belonging and loyalty. These are the fundamental pillars in promoting the UAE’s culture and heritage, to build a cohesive society,” said Al Mutaiwei. At the visit, the DEWA delegation toured Dubai Police Officers Club facilities, including the theatre and library, and were briefed on Dubai Police’s periodical publications. DEWA thanked Dubai Police for the warm welcome and cooperation to achieve their common objectives to serve the public interest.
